Not one word has failed of all his good promise, by which he spoke by Moses.
Scouts make them. So do a bride and groom. Or a person joining a club. People make promises all the time! Sometimes those promises are very solemn, other times they’re said flippantly. All too often these promises won’t be kept because they can’t be kept.
Solomon is absolutely positive that God has kept his promises, every one of them. He protected the
children of Israel and granted them security and hope. He promised to be with his people, even in agonizing moments of life.
Those promises are still being kept. You too are protected. You too are given hope. He will be with you always, even to the end of your time. This is a God who truly loves his people!
Promises are not always kept, unless they’re made by our good God!

Thanks, dear Lord, for keeping your promise to me! Amen.
Think: How well do you keep your promises?
