Shelter in Place

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to
the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Psalm 921:1-2

The phrase “Shelter in Place” meant nothing to me a year ago. The pandemic of 2020 disordered our lives and made that phrase familiar to us all. Psalm 91 declares that God is the correct place to shelter. He is the protective fortress for those who put hope in Him.
Our Lord lovingly explains that those who dwell with him are near him, residing in His shadow. This Bible verse, written 2,500 years ago, applies to you and me! Believers shelter with the Most High God. Believers abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
