Carry On

...even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.

Isaiah 46:4

Have you been told to “carry on”? That’s normally a send-off when someone urges you to proceed on some course. The encouragement may not perceive the actual ability to do so.
Face it, when it comes to faith and its exercise, you cannot carry on by yourself. You risk a fall, like you sometimes do if you need help to move around, but refuse to take it or have a foolish bout of over confidence.
Jesus carried your sins to the cross where they were forgiven. And now his Spirit supplies all you need to live your faith until that day he carries you home.

Carry on, loving Jesus. Carry me wherever you want me to go. Amen.
