The Final Word

Do the dark clouds of our world (and your personal life) get you down? When they do, Isaiah speaks a word of hope — the final word will not be loss, grief, cancer, or even death, for “The Holy One of Israel” is among you, and he will write the final word for you.

Jesus Christ is the Holy One who came among us, not as a simple spectator, but as savior, rescuer, and redeemer. He will not abandon us; he is actively with us and will write the final word. Trust the Christ of the Cross and live hopefully today. “Sing for Joy!” The Holy One has already spoken the final word — Eternal Life.
