Bloom Where You're Planted

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him ...

Psalm 62:8a

Moving to a new home can be difficult. A friend once suggested that continuity helps us adjust to our new surroundings. It was fall when we prepared for one

of our first moves. I decided to gather some marigold seeds from my garden and take them along to plant at our new home in spring. Those delightful yellow flowers gave me happiness through the summer.

I continued to gather some seeds for future moves. The warmth of May reminds me to plant a few traveling seeds in my flowerpots and wait for new life to appear! Once again, I’m witnessing God’s miracle! Just as these flowers have brought me joy through life’s sunshine and storms, how much more I value God’s presence in my life, no matter where I am!
