Transformed by Promises

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

After thousands of Jewish families from all over the ancient world arrived in Jerusalem for one of the three greatest Jewish festivals, they heard the Gospel spoken in their own language from Peter and the apostles.

The apostles were transformed by the Holy Spirit to preach about Jesus Christ to each person in their own language. Jesus, who was handed over to them a few months before, and who they nailed to the cross, was announced as the One who would now save them from sin, death, and hell! God gave them transforming faith!
