Being an Encourager

Some years ago, Jerry Molnar, a 9/11 survivor, spoke at

our church. He told me that he was going to put the plaque that we gave him next to the plaque that was given to him

by the people on the 79th floor of the World Trade Center. They recognized him as the spiritual leader of the floor. He obviously went against the norm. Through all the tragedies that Jerry went through, he could have very easily said that Christianity and Christ had failed him. But instead, he tells of how Christ was the one who helped him through all the difficulties that he faced. He went counter to what would have been the norm. We, too, must let our world know that we know who Jesus is and share his love with them.
