Torchbearer

I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure dwells in you as well.

2 Timothy 1:5

Today’s verse is Paul describing the strong, devoted faith Timothy, Paul’s ministry partner has and how Timothy’s strong faith in Christ resulted from the Christian upbringing received from his grandmother and mother.

Take inventory of yourself and consider, am I living like Christ is my constant guide? Do I trust Jesus to bring me through life’s trials? Am I passing to family and friends the love Christ has for me and everyone? Do others see in me the love of Christ? If not ask God to guide you. He will open doors for you to share his triumphs with others.
